Bones and All (2022)

Release: November 23

Following the monumental success of Call Me By Your Name (2017), the critically-acclaimed actor-director tandem comprising Timothée Chalamet and Luca Guadagnino is back with a new film! Guadagnino departs from the romance genre which initially brought him to fame, now settling back into his comfortable and familiar seat in horror-thrillers. Adding a twist to this genre, Bones and All has been described as a “coming-of-age romantic cannibal film.” Based on the trailers, we can take comfort in the fact that the film will be a well-balanced blend of the two. – Jia

And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow (2022)

Release: November 18

As a continuation to the 2019 album Titanic Rising, Weyes Blood brings us her fifth studio album this November. And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow is the second act to a musical trilogy that began with her 2019 long-playing record (LP). While the previous record was filled with songs on impending doom, the songstress describes the upcoming album as  “a search for an escape hatch to liberate us from algorithms and [the] ideological.” Pre-released tracks “It’s Not Just Me, It’s Everybody” and “Grapevine” have already generated excitement among listeners due to their dreamy soundscapes. Clearly, there is much anticipation for the musical direction of Blood’s upcoming album. – Mikay

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)

Release: November 9, 2022 (Philippines)The Marvel Cinematic Universe is all set to take us to a new and mighty era of Wakanda with the long-awaited sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Directed and co-written once again by Ryan Coogler, the highly-anticipated movie promises to pay homage to late actor Chadwick Boseman, who played the lead role of King T’Challa in Black Panther (2018). Coogler brings Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje to the spotlight as they protect their kingdom from invading forces in the wake of T’Challa’s disappearance. Despite the tragic and unimaginable loss saddling its production, we all hope the sequel delivers both a promise of a rightful tribute and a compelling, revitalized way forward for the nation of Wakanda. – Raffy
