Anton Fausto: Bibo Next Door

2 BS Management, Major in Communications Technology Management

While Anton may be the youngest of the bunch—his co-hosts call him their bunso—he certainly doesn’t lack confidence or poise. Having been a performer since before he entered college, Anton has learned to carry himself well onstage, whether through dancing as part of the Company of Ateneo Dancers or representing his home organization, the Ateneo Association of Communications Technology Management, during the School of Management (SOM) Week as their Mr. SOM candidate. However, he understands that the group’s responsibility as hosts extends to beyond being entertaining. “The hosts’ main job, in any event, is to inform the audience of what’s going to happen,” he elaborates. Having grown so much over his first year on campus, Anton urges the freshmen to always seek out their own avenues for growth. “Just be open to all the opportunities,” he says, “even if it scares you.”

The heat is on

Imagine sitting in a classroom at Berchmans Hall. Sunlight is streaming in through the window, the harsh rays burning your skin. You’ve already run out of ways to cool down using your Philosophy reading (Habermas can only do so much)—ranging from using it to shield your eyes from the glare, to fanning yourself repeatedly.
