Healthy Co. review

Boasting of its ability to cater to the more health-conscious consumer, Healthy Co. harmonizes with the current trend towards healthier food options by offering fresh and salubrious food alternatives to the Atenean community.

Taste

The stall’s protein-packed portion of grilled chicken breast paired with steamed vegetables and brown rice classify as Healthy Co.’s finest; a glance and whiff of its appetizing aroma—right down to the flawless char and tenderness of the chicken is enough to realize why exactly it is so. At first bite, the chicken’s seasoning is accentuated by its amalgamation of salty as well as spicy flavors and will almost immediately leave you wanting more.

Accompanied by the brown rice and palatable vegetables as side dishes that do not overpower the flavorful and succulent protein, the combination made within the dish itself is able to balance out appropriately.

Concept

Upon being rooted from the owners’ desire to introduce something distinct at JSEC, the mere concept of serving simple and nutritious food was what made Healthy Co. become what it currently is: a solution to the limited healthy food alternatives in Ateneo. Coupled with a minimalistic design scheme for the stall itself and an earthy color palette, the execution of their vision for Healthy Co. does not fall short.

Value for money

The protein, vegetables, and rice combination, at Php 120, is not only the stall’s most expensive and filling product, but is also its best-selling one for good reason. Given the fresh ingredients used to make the meal, the generosity with the amount of food per portion, as well as the quality of the final output—the combination of all these components are reasonable and just.

Final verdict

Healthy Co. is, in its entirety, uncomplicated and straightforward. The insipid tang of the vegetables, as well as the high price of the meal itself, are hardly concerns as the food it offers satiates in both taste and contentment. Ultimately, Healthy Co. is able to fulfill its promise of healthy satisfaction.
