Sam Warren: The Sweetheart

3 BS Psychology

Sam describes herself as a little bit more reserved than the rest of her co-hosts, but still ready to entertain. While being a student jock for RX 93.1 has certainly helped her work on her hosting chops, she admits she’s also been watching a lot of ABS-CBN’s ASAP in order to prepare herself for the role of O-Host. Sam is no newcomer to the stage; as a member of the Company of Ateneo Dancers, she’s certainly had her fair share of performing. As for Sam’s own OrSem experience, she shares, “I think what made my OrSem experience memorable was that you were suffering through the same things as your block.” Whether it was the initial awkwardness or the bad weather conditions during her OrSem, Sam was glad that she had newfound friends by her side throughout the day to help make the experience enjoyable. If there’s one thing Sam learned during her freshman year, it’s that you should never overestimate yourself. “When they say that college is so much harder, you really do need to work harder even for just an average grade,” she says.

The heat is on

You’ve already run out of ways to cool down using your Philosophy reading (Habermas can only do so much)—ranging from using it to shield your eyes from the glare, to fanning yourself repeatedly.
