Doodle Therapy with Alice Lee
Release: December 1
If you’re someone who likes to de-stress through creativity, you’ll definitely enjoy illustrator Alice Lee’s interactive drawing show, Doodle Therapy.
Launched this year on Adobe Live, Doodle Therapy is a virtual space supplemented by doodle prompts and insights from special guests, where viewers draw and chat about anything under the sun. Participating viewers get to have their artworks featured as community submissions, while learning the ins and outs of illustration and design. The show has featured an interesting range of topics and prompts, such as Childhood Nostalgia, Ghibli Landscapes, and Drawing Your Feelings. As someone who always uses art to unwind, Doodle Therapy definitely leaves me more relaxed, inspired, and knowledgeable after every episode. -Anya

Wonder by Shawn Mendes
Release: December 4
Two earlier released singles of Shawn Mendes’ fourth album Wonder set the general mood for the tracklist. Wonder, the titular track, showcases a haunting intro that seems to empower the listener. This song makes me feel like I’m the main character of my own coming-of-age movie! On the other hand, Monster (a collab between Mendes and Justin Bieber) is a confession from the duo about their experiences as young artists. Being pushed into the spotlight at early ages, they draw out these raw emotions and transform these into a 3-minute single.
We can expect tracks with more heartfelt lyrics from Mendes. This album is definitely something to be excited about, since he starts to shy away from the bright and upbeat tunes that he became known for! -Therese

Release: December 4
Visionary director David Fincher—best known for his cult classics Fight Club (1999) and The Social Network (2010)—hands cinephiles yet another treat with his three-decade long passion project, autobiographical drama Mank.
Mank follows the turbulent origins of what many critics, filmmakers, and fans consider to be the greatest film ever made: Citizen Kane (1941). Shot in black and white for the spirit of Old Hollywood, Mank centers on self-destructive screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he rushes to finish the iconic screenplay behind Kane. Aside from its rich source material, Mank boasts a star-studded cast, featuring Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, and Charles Dance. -Anya

Season Finale: Dec 6
Set in the fictional Silicon Valley of South Korea, Start-Up (2020) follows four aspiring entrepreneurs on their journey to make it big in the tech industry. The show’s cast features K-drama fan favorites, such as While You Were Sleeping (2017)’s Bae Suzy and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (2016)’s Nam Joo-hyuk. It’s refreshing to see these two actors step away from their earlier roles of psychic reporters and college jocks to become bright-eyed start-up newbies. With Start-Up’s season finale airing on December 6, I can’t wait to see how the show will end, given the heated rivalry between the two main leads. If you love a good romcom (while learning about the ins and outs of the growing entrepreneurship industry), then this show is for you! –Therese
